About Me

Hi, I’m Grady – flat cap wearer, full-time illustrator, graphic designer, and a proud survivor of 25+ years in the print industry. My work is inspired by a lifelong obsession with retro football, old telly, cult films, music, comics, street art and anything else that looks like it could use a cape or a yellow card.

 

I’m based in Essex, England and a Leeds United fan (yes, I’ve known both joy and character-building disappointment). What started as a hobby is now my full-time job – bringing bold, fun and sometimes slightly ridiculous ideas to life through illustration and design.

My work’s popped up in the pages of The Square Ball and Essex Golfer, and I’ve also had the pleasure of teaming up with The Terrace – where I’ve ended up drawing for all sorts of clubs, like Burnley, Plymouth Argyle, Blackburn, West Ham, Morecambe and many many more. Some of my stuff has even made it onto the Under The Cosh You Tube channel, proudly waving in the background like a very well-drawn flag.
